Miniatures Painting Contest

 

Effective 01/02/2008

 

           Bring in your best painted miniatures and enter them at the registration desk by 1:00PM on Saturday August 3^rd, 2008.  You may enter as many categories as you like, however, you may have only one entry per category. Judging for all entries will end at 4:00PM on Sunday August 3^rd , 2008 and winners will be announced at that time. Awards & prizes will be given to Best Overall, 1^st place, 2^nd place, & 3^rd place. The Categories for this year are:

 

           ◙ Modern/Sci-fi single miniature.

           ◙ Modern/Sci-fi Unit (min. size unit as per game rules).

           ◙ Fantasy single miniature.

           ◙ Fantasy unit. (min. size as per game rules)

◙ Large Monster, Machine, or Anime/Manga kit (Sci-fi or Fantasy, kits must still be painted not just assembled).

 

1) No one will be allowed to handle miniatures once they are entered into the contest.

 

2) Categories may be combined if there are insufficient entries.

 

3) Ancient City Con staff members reserve the right to refuse entry to any miniature(s) they deem inappropriate for public view.

 

4) Only the original person who entered the miniature(s) will be allowed to retrieve their entry. Do not send somebody else in your place.

 

5) Ancient City Con and its staff members are not responsible for any miniatures that are left at registration after the contest is over.
