COSPLAY CONTEST RULES

1.Contestants are expected to follow all costuming rules found here .Props are allowed. See Ancient City Con rules on props here.

2. Keep all content in your performance to PG13 standards. No explicit sexual jokes, nudity, profanity, or excessive violence. We need to keep it clean since all ages come to this type of event.

3. May have any type of CD for music or prerecorded voices. Microphones may or may not be available.

4. Performances will be timed. They can only be 3 minutes or less.


5. Failure to follow the rules will disqualify you from the contest at the discretion of the Ancient City Con Staff.


6. Sign-up for the contest will take place at the registration table.

AWARD CATEGORIES:


1. Best Group: 2 or more people. Maximum 12 people.


2. Best Solo: There can be only one….

3. Youngblood: All performers under the age of 13.


4. Best In Show: The performance the audience likes best.
